Joan (Joanne) de Pass, born February 17, 1934, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026 in Midland, Ontario surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Richard de Pass and daughter Michele (Michael), survived by her children Deborah (Ian, deceased), Karen (Ron) and Andrew (David); grandchildren Tyler, Michelle, Mathew, Michael, Daniel, Eloise and Florence and great grandchildren Riley and Quinn. Joanne was a dedicated mother and grandmother, loved deeply by all who knew her. She shared many happy summers boating on Georgian Bay with her husband Richard, creating cherished memories with family and friends. She also had a lifelong love for animals, especially her cats! A celebration of life will be held later in the year. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
