Brownridge, Mary-Ellen
It is with deep sadness that the family of Mary-Ellen Brownridge (nee: Iles)
announce her passing. Our dear Mother passed peacefully at Hospice Huronia -Tomkins House on March 2nd, 2023 at the age of 79 years. Mary-Ellen was the only child of Albert and Freeda Iles, jewellers of Thornbury. She was the loving mother to Lori Sharp (John) of Midland and Ian Brownridge of Alberta. Cherished step grandmother to Matthew and James Sharp and great-grandmother to Emberlee Sharp. Mary-Ellen will be dearly missed by her many friends and relatives. Mary-Ellen grew up in Thornbury and then after many years in Calgary, returned to Ontario in 2011. She enjoyed her retirement years travelling and enjoying her ‘living room view’ of her much loved Georgian Bay. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to OSPCA or Hospice Huronia.
