Remembering James Duggan 'Jim'

With great sadness we announce the passing of our father James William Duggan on Monday June 14^th, 2021 in his 90^th year. Beloved husband of the late Bessie Duggan. Loving and devoted father of Debbie (David) Long, David (Kathy) Duggan, Donald (Janice) Duggan, and Diane (Gunther) Schmidt. Survived by sister Glennis (Basil) Hepinstall, predeceased by sisters Wilma, Verna, Veronica (Bobbie) and brothers Bruce, Ken & Don.  Proud Grandpa of Ashley, Matthew, Mitchell, Ryan Duggan, Michael Long, David and Christopher Schmidt, and great grandson Cooper. The family will receive guests at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Monday June 21, from 12pm to 2 pm at which time we will start a service in the chapel to celebrate Jim’s life starting at 2 pm. Following the service, burial will take place in the family plot at St. George’s Anglican Cemetery in Cooper’s Falls. Due to current world events, capacity is limited to 50 people including the family at any particular time. Although the service is not private, we do ask that a reservation be made by calling the funeral home within regular business hours to reserve space if you wish to attend. The family will also be offering Livestream services through the Carson Funeral Home You Tube channel which can be viewed in real time. Simply log onto the Carson Funeral Home You Tube Chanel 10 minutes prior to the start of the service. If desired, donations in Jim’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice and are greatly appreciated.
