Remembering Garnet Ernest Horne

(4H Club Member, Member of the Orillia, Gravenhurst, and Bracebridge Farmers Markets) Passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Thursday June 12, 2014 in his 76th year. Garnet, predeceased by his wife Carmel, will be sadly missed by his children Patrick, Ernest (Sarah), Katherine (John Ward Jr.) Horne, and Christina Horne, by his grandchildren Gibson, Griffin, Emmett, Myah, Marla, and Maron, and by his brothers Don, Bill, and Charles and his sister Laurene. Garnet is predeceased by his sister Jean Anne. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Monday June 16, 2014 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m.. Funeral service will be held at Forest Home United Church on Tuesday June 17, 2014 at 11 o’clock. Interment to follow at St. Andrews St. James Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
