Dorothy Mary Kennedy passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Village Care Centre Midland on Saturday May 17th, 2014 in her 92nd year. Predeceased by loving husbands William Bell, Dave Howes and Clarence Kennedy. Also predeceased by her parents Ernest and Alice (Rutherford) Dodd of Bracebridge, her brother Murray (Betty) and sister Lois Dodd. Loving mother of Leanne (James) Thoms of Midland. Cherished grandmother of Chrystal, Stephen (Jennifer Allen) and Jonathan Thoms. Special great aunt of Lisa Forth. Dorothy's strong will, beautiful smile, infectious laughter, quick wit and huge heart will be sadly missed and forever cherished by her many friends and family. Visitation on Friday, May 23rd from 7-9 pm. A funeral service and reception will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 11am at Lynn Carson funeral home in Midland 290 First Street Midland (705)526-6551, immediately followed by burial at St. Thomas’ Anglican Cemetery in Bracebridge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, CNIB and Hillcrest Village would be appreciated by the family.
