
Passed away at the Georgian Bay General Hospital on Sunday March 30, 2014 in her 93rd year. Myra Giddings of Tiny, beloved wife of the late Reginald Giddings. Loving mother of Sandra Trafford (John predeceased) of Toronto, Nigel Giddings (predeceased), Jacqueline Giddings of Barrie and Brett Giddings of Orillia. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Jason) Hynes, Cameron Hawco, Kiersten (Neil) Odette and Lindsay Hawco (Mitchell Lambert). Loved great grandmother to Spencer Hynes and Evelyn Odette. Dear sister of Denis of Wales , Ursula of England and predeceased by John, Ena & Glenys. Myra will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families in Wales and England. Myra was known to her many friends in the Balm Beach community for her outgoing & feisty personality, her euchre skills and love of dancing at “The Club”. A special thanks goes to the nurses of 2 North for their excellent care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Carson Funeral Homes – JH Lynn Chapel, 290 First Street, Midland (705) 526-6551, on Sunday April 6, 2014 from 4-6 P.M. A memorial service to celebrate Myra’s life will be held in the chapel on Monday morning, April 7, 2014 at 11 o’clock. A reception will follow. The burial of the cremated remains will take place in the spring. If desired, memorial donations to the Georgian Bay General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
