Remembering Sarah Alice McBride (nee Hamilton) 'Sally'

Passed away peacefully on Monday December 9, 2013, at Leisureworld Spencer House, Orillia, in her 88th year. Sally McBride (nee Hamilton) of Orillia, formerly of Guelph. Beloved wife for 64 years of the late Robert (Bob) McBride (January 9, 2013). Much loved mother of James McBride of Sudbury and Robin West (Doug) of Orillia. Loving grandmother of Jason (Sasha) and Ryan McBride (Crystal) both of Sudbury, and Sarah and Emily West of Orillia. Great-grandmother of McKenna, Harmony, and Walker McBride. Step grandmother of Karl West. Survived by her sister Janet Lockwood and predeceased by her sisters Catherine Rostic & Jo Wild. Sally will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Many special thanks to the staff of Spencer House for the unconditional love and care given to Sally. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Saturday morning, December 14, 2013, from 10 o’clock until the time of service to celebrate her life at 11 o’clock.
