Remembering Judith Anne Fleming (nee Reeves)

Jude passed away at The Spencer House in Orillia. Predeceased by her loving husband John Fleming December 3, 2023. She is survived by her daughter Kim Head (Peter) and son Stephen Fleming (Sarah) Loving grandchildren include Stephanie (Mitch), Timothy (Kait), Jeffrey (Caylea), Jeremy (Abby), Cody (Amy), Alexandra, Rebecca, Brandon, Emma and great granddaughter Madelynn. She is also survived by her siblings Joan, & Wendy (Rodger) and John’s siblings Bill (Olga), Patsy (John), & Glenn (Joanne). She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Jude worked for many years with John at Mac Fleming Paint & Wallpaper in Aurora. She had a flare for decorating and did a fantastic job with any project that she tackled. Jude travelled to many places around the world with John, family and friends and enjoyed it immensely. After retirement Jude would go to the gym passionately every morning, always walked, loved reading, cleaning, golfing and dancing with John. Special thanks to her caregivers, Rita, Madonna and every other staff member at The Spencer House that gave her the best care. They did an amazing job. She was taken from us far too early with Alzheimer’s/ Dementia and it was devastating to see her suffer. We are thankful that she is now at peace and with John dancing up a storm and listening to music! As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. In Jude’s memory we would ask for donations to Mariposa House Hospice in Orillia, Ontario and will be received by Carson Funeral Homes – L.Doolittle Chapel  54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705)326-3595.
