It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Edward (Ted) Carter, on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Myrna Carter for 62 years (deceased). Father to his three daughters, Cathy Carter-Romero (deceased), Janet Carter Earle (Tom Earle), and Susan Carter Dickie (Grant Dickie). Proud Papa to Lindsay (James), Nick (Taylor) and Luke (Clare) Earle, Samantha (Taylor) and Rob Romero, McKenna and Callum Dickie.
Ted passed away peacefully at Trillium Manor surrounded by the love of his daughters. He will be dearly missed by his family and long time friends. Many thanks to the staff at Trillium Manor. Your kindness and support meant so much to Ted and his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595.
