Passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital with his family by his side on Tuesday September 22, 2026 in his 74th year. Archie, loving husband to Bernadette, will be sadly missed by his children Tracy Boychoff, William (Jasmine), Bryan (Christina), Harry White, and Nathan (Tanja) White. Archie will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jadyn, Brooklyn, Ethan, Scarlett, Lilian, Amelia, Nathan Jr., and Alex. Archie is survived by his brothers Robert (Debbie) and Thomas (Linda). Archie was a Truck driver, farmer, and collector of farm equipment or whatever he could find. He was a man of few words, but was very witty with the ones he did use. Cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life at Udney community center 2347 Con Rd.10 Ramara on Sunday November 8, 2026 from 1-4pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation and will be received by Carson Funeral Homes – L.Doolittle Chapel 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705)326-3595.

Oct 7, 2026Archie became a great friend during his time in Churchill Falls, and became a close friend to all of the members of the Churchill Falls Fire Department. Was always up for a chat no matter what time of day. During a trip to Toronto he found out that a crew from the fire hall was coming up for training and he and his wife welcomed us to his farm with open arms as if we we all part of their family and provided a meal to us that is still talked about to this day. Thoughts and prayers with his family. You'll be missed my friend!

Oct 5, 2026Tracy, Billy, Bryan and family, So sorry to hear about the passing of Archie. I have many good memories of him with his quick wit and wry sense of humour. One memory that stands out for me is when I headed up to Innisfil directly from work and hit a major snowstorm where I couldn’t see in front of me and I drove my car into the ditch. A car stopped to help me and I told them my brother in law lived at the end of the road and he kindly drove me there. Once there, I announced that I needed to call a tow truck to get my car out of the ditch. Archie said no need that he could get me out with his backhoe. I said great and opened a beer to finally relax. But, I was mistaken as Archie told me to find some boots and a coat at the front door as I had to go with him. Here I was in my business suit, pantyhose with boots and a coat two sizes two big for me climbing into his backhoe. I knew Archie was enjoying making the city slicker feel very uncomfortable but he got my car out and we all had a nice evening catching up, enjoying snacks and especially his well known kielbasa. Sep 29, 2026My best memories of Archie was helping him paint his snowplow truck, which his built. I was his wing girl at the time. I loved with with Archie. I was able to travel the world with the money I made from working with Archie. I could go on and on about all the special memories I have of Archie. Those memories are close to my heart and will never fade away. R.I.P. Archie I love you , you were one hell of a good man!! You will be missed by many. Rest easy xo
