In Loving Memory of Penelope Candice Marie “Sweetie” Miller
October 10, 1968 – September 1, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Penelope Candice Marie Miller, affectionately known as “Sweetie” and lovingly called “Auntie Coo Coo” by so many.
Penelope had a quick wit and a joyful spirit that made her the life of the party. Her humour, warmth, and unforgettable personality brought laughter wherever she went. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.
She is reunited in rest with her mother, Edna Miller; her brother, Peter Chase; and her sister, Donna Tynes. Penelope was the cherished daughter of Edna Miller and Herman Dorion.
She leaves behind her beloved brothers, Lenny Miller and Sheldon Carter; and her sisters, Carol Charlebois, Sherry Baker, Laura Spring, and Chrystal Dorion. A devoted godmother to many, she also leaves numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews, as well as a recently welcomed great-great niece.
Penelope will be lovingly remembered by her many friends near and far. Her laughter, love, and one-of-a-kind spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
Funeral arrangements are as follows: A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 19th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Church, 589 Hugel Avenue, Midland.
