It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian Michael Cuch Tuesday August 4 , 2026 at Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital. Brian in his 69th year fought a courageous battle with cancer.
He is predeceased by his parents George and Irene (nee Landriault) and his sisters Barb Gervais and Debbie Desforges.
Loving husband to his wife Sylvia. Survived by his 2 children Steve (Melissa) and Christine (Ryan) and their families. As well as his step children Shawn, Kristen and Andrea (Ian).
Brian was a proud popa/grand-pere to eight grandchildren Tyler, Alexis, Miley, Mason, Aubrey , Mya, Layla and Olivia.
Son-in-law to Pearl Wuschenny.
Brian was born in Coniston Ontario where he spent many hours outdoors enjoying camping, fishing and hunting trips. He loved to play guitar and many campfires were serenaded with Johnny Cash songs.
After losing his dad at a young age Brian became very close to his cousin Danny who inspired him to become a long distance truck driver. Brian was very proud of his driving record of 4 million accident free miles throughout Canada and the US over 36+ years. Brian's smile, his sense of humor , strength and love for his family and friends will be sadly missed. His loss will be deeply felt by many and he will remain forever in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday September 26, 2026 at 255 West St. S., Orillia Ont. from 11am -1pm. Words of reflection at noon. Interment to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595.
