Born in England on March 25, 1943 sadly passed away on September 26, 2013 in Orillia at the age of 70. He lived his early years in Stroud, Gloucestershire, England and then moved to Toronto, Canada in 1956. Beloved husband of Sandi (nee McLean). Incredible father to Jason (Christina), Jenifer (Peter) and Christa (Andrew). Adored Gramps/Papa to Emily, Matthew, Lucas, Michaela and Avery. Survived by his sister Gillian. Loving uncle to Tracy (Bruce), Andrew (Erika), Scotty (Brenda), Michael, Sean, Stephanie and Emily. A memorial service will be held at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E. Orillia, (705) 326-3595, on Wednesday October 2, 2013 at 1 o’clock. Donations in memory of Mike to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
