It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charles P. Newman on June 2, 2026. After facing recent health challenges with strength and determination.
Charlie was the proud father of Troy, Todd, Tori, Teemu, Ethan, Chandler, Mame, Charles, and Annie, and he also leaves behind his unborn baby.
He was a loving grandfather to Issac and Mya.
Charlie was a cherished brother to John, Jim, George, and Colin, and a beloved stepbrother to Jerry, Brian, and Crystal.
He will be lovingly remembered as a beloved uncle, great uncle, nephew, and cousin, and by the partners who shared in his life's journey.
He leaves behind a large and loving family, including many partners who became part of the family, along with friends and community members whose lives were touched by his kindness, laughter, and love.
Charlie was predeceased by his beloved children, whom he carried in his heart always, as well as his parents Lottie and John Newman, and his stepfather, Egbert.
All are welcome to attend Charlie’s funeral service on June 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Rama Community Hall. Following the service, family and friends are invited to remain for a time of sharing stories, food, laughter, and fellowship as Charlie’s life is remembered and celebrated.
