It is with sadness in our heart that we announce the passing of Bernice Beard. Married 67 years to the love of her life, Floyd Beard. She was mom to four children, Allen (Louise), Colette (Jim), Bill (Lori), Angie and Barb.
She has eight wonderful grandchildren: Josh (Jenna), Luke (Katelyn), Katie, Jeremy, Morgan (Andy), Mathew, Kelsey (Cody), and Megan.
There are 14 great grandchildren. Nicole, Aurora, Rylan, Kayla, Bowen, Millie, Charleigh, Chloe, Makenzie, Alyvia, Wyatt, Wayne, Kip, and Coast.
Daughter of the late Grace and Andrew Blunt.
Bernice was the third of seven children: Donald, Marlene (predeceased), Doug, Barb, Judy, and Steve.
She had a love for gardening, pickling, preserving, nature, and old rundown buildings.
She will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside interment of cremated remains will be held at Marchmont Cemetery on Monday June 8, 2026 at 1 o’clock.

May 27, 2026I want to send Floyd & family my deep condolences @ this sad time. I remember her from our days of Women’s Institution. We smiled, laughed & learned during our monthly meetings. Bearnice was such a crafty lady& we all learned so much. Did you know that the Queen had her own branch of the W.I. .. that was quite an honour.
