Remembering William Perry 'Bill'

April 2, 1932 – May 4, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William Edwin “Bill” Perry on May 4, 2026, at the age of 94.

Bill was born on April 2, 1932, in Toronto, Ontario, to Adele Irene Jackson and Irving Sproule Perry. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Louise Florence Perry (née Spanswick), with whom he shared many years of life, love, and family. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his children: Tom Perry and his wife, Diane; Brenda Perry; Kim Dodson and her husband, Bruce; and Ted Perry and his wife, Patty. He was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A skilled cabinet maker by trade, Bill had a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. He took enormous pride in his work…never settling for less than “perfection”. He had a gift for storytelling and loved sharing stories around the dinner table; over meals he often prepared himself.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his sense of humor, and the way he made those around him feel valued. He leaves behind a legacy of love, tradition, and quiet strength that will continue to live on through his family.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 1 o'clock at Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel. For more information, please call (705) 326-3595.
