MacDONALD, BETTY HAZEL
Betty Hazel MacDonald passed away at Mariposa House Hospice in Severn on May 5, 2026. She was 84.
Betty was pre-deceased by her partner, Lockie Patterson. Loving mother to George MacDonald, Jamie MacDonald, and Shona Thompson (Steve). Dear grandmother to Tyler Johnson, Mysty MacDonald, Bailey Hammet, Braden MacDonald, Jared MacDonald, Stella Thompson, Parker Thompson, and Oscar Thompson. Betty will also be missed by her great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and stepchildren, Donna Patterson, Stephen Patterson, Lisa Schembri (Doug), Meredith Patterson (Phil) and their families. Betty is survived by her brother Ron Hutchinson (Judy), her sister Anne Hutchinson Nesbitt Balvers (Al), and predeceased by her sister Gail Hutchinson Mueller.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 1 to 4 p.m. with sharing of Memories beginning at 2:30 P.M. at Carson Funeral Homes L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705)326-3595.
If desired, memorial donations to Mariposa House Hospice would be welcomed.
