CHWILKOWSKA, MARIA
Maria Chwilkowska, aged 79, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2026, at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital with family at her side.
She has now reunited with Alfons Chwilkowski, her loving husband of 59 years. Predeceased by her parents, Jan and Anna Mielnik, her brothers Jozef Mielnik and Stefan (Henryka) Mielnik. Survived by her siblings Janusz (Halina) Mielnik and Halina (Zdzislaw) Obraniak, as well as her nieces, nephews and other extended family members. She will be dearly missed by family and friends in Kitchener, Timmins and in Poland.
A memorial service will be held at the chapel of Parkview Cemetery in Waterloo, Ontario on May 16, 2026 at 1:30 pm, followed by interment.
In lieu of flowers, please plant a flower in your own garden in her memory, as Maria found peace in nature and in gardening.
