Passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Saturday April 11, 2026, surrounded by family. Survived by Maria Chwilkowska (Nee:Mielnik), his loving wife of almost 60 years. Predeceased by his brother Zygmunt (Krystyna) Chwilkowski, and his parents Bronislaw Chwilkowski and Maria Chwilkowska. Dear uncle of Marta (Robert) Siembida and Ewelina (Mark) Chwilkowska. Alfons will also be fondly remembered by his friends and family in Kitchener, Timmins, and in Poland. The Family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – L.Doolittle Chapel 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705)326-3595, on Saturday April 25, 2026 from 3 pm until time of memorial service in the chapel at 4 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
