Remembering Marion Louise Blogg (nee Horne)

August 13, 1925 – March 14, 2026

It is with deep love and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Marion Blogg, a truly extraordinary woman whose presence graced our lives for a century of quiet strength, wisdom, and boundless love.

Marion is survived by her devoted daughter, Karen Blogg, and her cherished grandchildren, Christine McLean and Robert McLean. She is reunited in peace with her beloved husband of 75 years, Edward Blogg, with whom she shared a lifetime of unwavering partnership, devotion, and love.

Marion was, in every sense, a beautiful soul. She loved fiercely yet lived gently, offering those around her a steady example of grace, patience, and acceptance. She taught us to release our worries, to trust in life’s unfolding, and to let go of what is not meant for us. Her words were simple, but her wisdom ran deep—far beyond comprehension.

A master gardener, Marion found joy in nurturing life from the earth. Her gardens were reflections of her spirit—vibrant, resilient, and lovingly tended. She carried that same care into her family, serving as a pillar of strength, humility, and kindness. Brilliant and hardworking, yet always gentle and humble, she gave her whole heart unconditionally.

To know Marion was to feel deeply loved. To lose her is to feel an immeasurable absence.

Though she is no longer with us in body, we find comfort in knowing her spirit lives on—in the butterflies, in the flowers, in the whispering trees, and in every quiet moment of beauty she taught us to notice. She remains with us in all that grows, all that blooms, and all that endures.

We will miss her beyond words and love her beyond time.

Rest peacefully, dear Grandma. May your journey onward be filled with love, light, and joy.

The interment will take place at Esson Cemetery, Oro-Medonte in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595.
