ADAMS, THOMAS FRANCIS (Tom)
Born in Hamilton on January 2, 1950, Tom passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026, at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie following a sudden stroke.
He was a devoted husband to Ching and father to Jason (Victoria) and Daniel.
Tom will be remembered for his strength of character, his independence, and the steady, grounding presence he brought to those around him. He spoke his mind and remained steady in his beliefs.
He found great joy in travelling to new places, embracing different cultures, and exploring the many flavors and traditions the world had to offer. In his later years, Tom took particular pleasure in barbecuing for family and friends, sharing meaningful conversations, and spending quiet moments kayaking on the water.
Tom will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Guests will be received at Carson Funeral Home – L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Sunday, March 8, 2026 for visitation starting at 11 a.m. followed by a service in the chapel to celebrate Tom’s life starting at 1 p.m.
