Kevin Arleigh Campbell, 66, of Orillia, Ontario, passed away peacefully at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital in the early morning hours of March 3rd, 2026.
Kevin was a devoted husband for 38 years to Vicki and a proud and loving father to Jody (Brad), Austin (Bob), and Chelsea. He was a cherished grandfather to Ava and Aislyn. He is survived by his brother Daryl (Maggie), mother-in-law Marion (Bob), sister-in-law Sue (Joe and family), brother-in-law William, and was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Louise. His family brought him endless pride and joy.
Kevin dedicated his career to working as a heavy equipment mechanic, a profession he took immense pride in. He spent the last 21 years working at Pine Ridge Lisco Edwards, a place that was his second home. He was highly respected in his field, known for his skill, strong work ethic, and the integrity he brought to the job. Providing for his family was his greatest purpose, and he spent his life working hard to ensure they had a secure and comfortable life.
In his personal time, Kevin found happiness in the simple things — relaxing with his dogs, spending time on the golf course, or enjoying time at the gun range. He treasured his weekends away in Wainfleet with his brother, time filled with laughter and tradition. A dedicated fan and season ticket holder of the Barrie Colts, he rarely missed a game and always looked forward to cheering them on.
Kevin was selfless, protective, and deeply devoted to his family. He was the kind of man who always put others first. He carried the role of provider and protector with quiet strength and unwavering commitment. He will be remembered for his sharp wit, his sarcasm, his loyalty, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.
His presence was steady, his love was constant, and his absence will be profoundly felt.
Please join us to honour and remember Kevin with his favorite food and drinks at Donaleigh's Irish Pub at 28 Dunlop St. E., Barrie, ON on Sunday, March 8th from 1 to 4 p.m.
