Remembering James Peter McLaughlin 'Jim'

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our husband, father and poppy Jim McLaughlin on Monday, March 2, 2026 in his 74th year at home surrounded by family. Jim was the beloved husband and best friend of Judy Blunt. Jim was blessed with 6 wonderful grandchildren Cameron Irwin (Hailey), Cole Janson (Abby), Lauren Irwin (Jakob), Cassidy Janson ( Kasey), Carter McLaughlin (Brooke) and Hayden McLaughlin as well as chosen grandson Lexon Strong (Ella) His grandchildren were his life and they were blessed to have a poppy who tried to attend all their events whether it be lacrosse, hockey, horse shows, music or school events throughout Ontario. He was never too busy to go on some adventure with the grandkids. One of his best memories was taking all six grandchildren without their parents to Whistler, B.C. What an adventure that was!
