With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Mary Jane’s beloved husband, our father, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, and grandfather — or as we lovingly called him, Pa and Pip — John Roach.
We invite family, friends, and all who knew him to join us in celebrating his life at Carson Funeral Home – J.H. Lynn Chapel (705) 526-6551 located at 290 First St. in Midland on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Speeches and shared memories will take place at 2:00 PM. This gathering will be a time to come together, reflect, and honour the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
Thank you for the love and support you’ve shown our family during this time. We look forward to remembering John together. With gratitude, The Roach Family.

Feb 20, 2026Hey John....We are climbing together, you are on your Roberts, I am having a tough time keeping up to you...probably because you are younger. You have gone ahead of us, around the curve and over the top of the hill into the cloudless sky. I am still cycling brother and expect I'll join you and all the other champions like Coppi, Simpson, Anquetil and all the rest of our pantheon of heroes...rest easy friend...you will be missed.
