Remembering Iris Edna May Hopkins (nee Piddington)

Iris Edna May Hopkins (Piddington) passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026 a few months after celebrating her 92nd birthday.

Iris' 7 siblings predeceased her and we are sure she is enjoying a beautiful family reunion with all those loved ones on the other side.

Iris had such a love for her children. There was never a time where a hug, kiss, and and I love you was missed out on for all of her family members.

She leaves behind 5 children Carolyn Jarvis, Robert (Bob) Hopkins, Danny Hopkins, Darlene Hopkins, and Lisa Hopkins. She was a grandmother to Patricia, Tanya, Amy, Ricky, Robert, Tamara, Christopher, Kenny, Jennifer, Colin, and Patrick. She was Great Grandma to 20 great grand children, and 7 great great grandchildren and waiting for the newest to be born.

She leaves a legacy of love.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595.

The family has requested, in lieu of flowers, that donations to a Hospice of your choice would be appreciated as it is a service that contributes to a beautiful passing.
