Peacefully at home on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at the age of 81. Shirley Ingersoll of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Ivan Ingersoll. Loving mother of Donny Thornton, Margaret Thornton (Robert Sharpe) and Joseph (Joe) Ingersoll (Brittany Vivian). Loved by her grandchildren Joshua Thornton, Mary Beth Thornton, Jonathan Thornton, Charles Thornton and 5 great grandchildren. Will be missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Monday January 26, 2026 from 12 noon until time of funeral service at 1 P.M. Spring interment, St. Michael’s Cemetery, Orillia.
