Remembering William Arthur Reynolds 'Bill'

Passed away at Georgian Bay General Hospital on Tuesday December 9, 2025 at the age of 79.  Bill was born in Midland on May 6, 1946.  Predeceased by his parents Venora and William J. Reynolds.  Beloved husband of Joyce Reynolds (Nee: Desroches) for 57 years.  Loving father of Leanne (Mike Radko).  Brother of Benson Reynolds (Nancy).Uncle of Shannon (Norm), Steven (Grace), and great-uncle of Liam, Roan, and Bridget.  Missed by mother-in-law Leona Desroches.  Brother-in-law to Linda and Ross Eccleshall, Nelson and Sue Desroches, Annette Middlemass, Bonnie Isaac and Trevor Beach, Gary and Kim Desroches, and Sandra and Dave Grenier.  Uncle to many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.  Loved and respected by many.  His kindness and willingness to help touched many lives.

He took great pride in his career as a transport driver for 37 years in which he was blessed with a clean driving record.  He fulfilled his passion for policing as Auxiliary Staff Sergeant, Southern Georgian Bay Detachment for 10 years.  He was a proud member of the OPPVA.  As per his request there will be no service and cremation has taken place.  “Then came the morning.”   If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation and will be received by Carson Funeral Home – J.H.
