Remembering Joseph Michael Cando

Born July 31, 1954 passed away at OSMH on December 5, 2025 following cardiac-related health issues.

Loving wife to Audrey Cando for 37 years and father to Michael Joseph Cando (predeceased).

Joseph, son of Mary and Joseph Cando (predeceased), Brother to Elizabeth (John), Margaret (predeceased), Gerard, Larry (Marjorie) and Nathan (Anna).

Brother-in-law to Valerie Boal (John Simpson), Pamela Hollington (Guy) and Cindy Boal.  Uncle to nieces and nephews, Shannon, Steven, Julia, Chelsea, Sarah, Joe, Leila, Tanya, Alicia, Tommy and many great nieces and nephews.   Adopted with love into our family - Geri Collins, Kelvin Carstens, Sarah Johnstone, Jayden and Kelvin(Jr) Carstens.

Joe loved life and he lived it to the fullest with a smile and a warm heart. He was funny and often had one-liners that would catch you by surprise. To know him was to love him. He loved music of all kinds, especially bluegrass music and attended many festivals over the years. Joe was always up for an adventure including camping, fishing, boating just to name a few.

After working over 30 years in the cable television industry as a service technician….. it didn’t take Joe long to discover retirement was the best! He would say “it gets better every day!”
