It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Beatty at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on November 27, 2025. She was a loving wife to Wayne Pye for 51 years and a devoted Mom to Kevin (Joanna) and Brian (Elisha). An adoring grandma to Sierra, Isaac, Seth, Emma, Leah, Adam and Emily. Sister to the late Edna (George) Short, Marion Dewhurst, Albert (Rose), Edward (Violet), the late Kenneth Dewhurst, Clara (George) Gill and Edith (Dan) Duff. Daughter to the late George and Nelly Dewhurst. Beatty will be missed by many nieces and nephews. She was the glue of the family. Always caring and worrying about others. So many will miss her ever caring presence in their lives. Cremation has taken place and a Family service will take place in the spring. Internment will be at St. Andrews St. James Cemetery in Orillia with arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel in Orillia (705) 326-3595
