Remembering Elizabeth Ellen Denne 'Betty'

Elizabeth Ellen Denne, commonly referred to as Betty - born March 17, 1936 in Monck township to Charles and Marguerite (Barker) Orman. Beloved wife of Francis Bradley Denne died Jan. 8, 2004. Loving mother to Lorraine and husband Frank Kent of Lethbridge, AB, Charles, Deborah, died October 27, 1996, Rodney and wife Colleen of Kitchener, Carol and husband Eric Lightfoot of Longford Mills. Dear grandmother of Lee, Candice, Barbara, Kelly, J.J., Fritz, Troy, Kevin, Josh, Kallahan, Broghan, and Canden. Special Great grandmother to Charlotte and Kristian and others. Dear sister to Irene Grant and her husband Tom, Marguerite Graham and her husband Don, Richard and his wife Anne, Fred and his wife Joyce. Much loved by many nieces and nephews. She will be sorely missed by her many friends in the coffee group and all who knew her! Her legend will live on! Relatives and friends will be received at the Carson Funeral Home L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Tuesday December 2, 2025 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday December 3, 2025 at 11 A.M. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. Following the interment there will be a reception which will be held back at the funeral home. If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
