It is with great sadness that we announce Lynn passed away at Mariposa House Hospice on Thursday November 27 in her 80th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years Gord of Orillia, Daughter Jennifer of Milton, and Niece Lisa Teskey of Etobicoke, along with many longtime friends. Predeceased by sister Myrna Teskey of Etobicoke and parents Roy and Helen Biehler of Weston.
Lynn will be remembered for her love of friends, laughter, stock car racing, and travel. She was an avid boater who looked forward to boating season all winter, traveled extensively throughout Georgian Bay and the Trent Severn Waterway, and completed her dream trip to Florida by boat. In retirement, she enjoyed life as a Winter Texan on South Padre Island, walking the beach, visiting local bars and restaurants to take in live music, and welcoming visits from friends.
Special love and gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Mariposa House Hospice, Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Royal Victoria Hospital, Ontario Health at Home, Bayshore Clinic Orillia, and Happy at Home Nursing, for their care and support.
The family will receive friends at an informal Celebration of Life at Carson Funeral Home Orillia, Saturday December 6, 1-3pm, with family remembrances at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Mariposa House Hospice, which can be done at the funeral home or online at https://www.mariposahousehospice.com/donate/

Dec 1, 2025Gord, Jennifer, and extended family. We are sad to learn of Lynn’s passing. We have enjoyed our visits with you in Orillia, and I have many memories of riding four abreast in the single cab pickup, towing to Flamboro. We are not able to attend the celebration of life Saturday, but we will be thinking of Lynn and you. She was a bright light, with a good sense of humour. We admired her courage and strength in her battle. Forever in our memory! Bob Wood and Denise Richard.

Nov 28, 2025Gord & Jennifer, We were heartbroken to have heard of Lynns passing. She had put up such a strong hard, fight, as best as she could, but just couldnt fight it any longer. May you find comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering, & can now rest in peace.
