Remembering Michael Dmitrovic

Dmitrovic, Michael

It is with profound heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Mike, aged 63, a loving husband and steady presence that shaped the lives of all who knew him. His departure has left an immeasurable void, and he will be missed beyond words.  He left us far too soon and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.

Mike was a devoted husband to Kim, a caring son to his mother Mira, and a loyal friend.  He lived each day with quiet strength, kindness, and genuine goodness. Those who knew him will remember his gentle humour, thoughtful nature, and the way he always put others before himself.

One of Mike’s greatest joys was golf.  He especially loved spending time at The Pulpit golf course, a place that brought him peace, camaraderie, and countless cherished moments. Whether he was sharing a laugh on the fairway or taking in the beauty of the course, golf was more than a pastime, it was a part of who he was.

His life was defined by the love he gave so freely.  He worked hard, cared deeply, and carried himself with integrity. The memories we shared - laughter, the quiet evenings, and the small moments that now feel so precious - will remain with us always.

Though our hearts are broken, Mike’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the countless memories that will continue to guide and comfort us.He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Mike is greatly missed. He enjoyed life's finer things, told great stories and was generous with everyone he knew. Although his time with us was too short, he spent it with the people he loved and having the experiences he valued. Rest in peace Mike. My thoughts are with Kim and all of Mike's friends and family.

  2. Christine Pauley

I was so saddened to learn of Mike's passing. My deepest condolences Kim.

  3. Diana Parks

Sending Kim, and all of Mike’s family and loved ones my deepest condolences. Mike was taken away far too young, and he will be dearly missed. I will always remember Mike being full of life, happy, and enjoying the life he and Kim built together.

Words are difficult and fall short at this very difficult time. Dear Kim you have the strength to find a place of peace to carry on. Know that I and the family are there for you always. We will miss Mike but he will be in our thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace. Much love, Mom 🙏

Michael left us way too soon. I enjoyed many golf games with him at Braestone…his short game was amazing. He was always encouraging and helpful to others he played with, giving little tips in a gentle way. He loaned all kinds of golf equipment to others. We joked that he had a warehouse of equipment in his home to keep all his golf “inventory”. He also enjoyed a nice glass of wine after a round. I will miss Michael, who was a good and generous friend.
