Passed peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Friday September 5, 2025 in his 91st year. Bruce, predeceased this spring by his wife Wendy/Gwynneth, will be sadly missed by his children Shari (Mike) Johnstone, Brian (Rosanna) Beard, and Heather Williams, by his grandchildren Shauna Johnstone, Randy Beard, Michael Beard, Erik Williams, and Christian Williams. Bruce is survived by his brothers David Beard and John (Hilda) Beard, and sister in laws Norma Bezzant and Sandra Chouinard. The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – L.Doolittle Chapel 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia (705)326-3595 on Friday September 12, 2025 from 10:00 am until time of service in the chapel at 11:00 o’clock. Interment will take place at St. Andrews St. James Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Toronto Zoo and will be appreciated by the family.
