Passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday August 29th after a brief but brave battle with metastatic cancer.
Devoted husband to his wife Cheryl Pritchard, spanning a 50 year journey of love, commitment and laughter.
Proud father of his son Frazer Pritchard (Cecilia Gonzalez Lemus) and daughter Meaghan Pritchard, who will always remember his compassion, encouragement and quick wit.
Loving grandfather to Graydon McKie and best Poppa to Meaghan’s fur baby Barnum.
He will be missed by extended family and friends, including his sister-in-law Kelly Rawn (Kevin Rawn) and his “Penetang family” of Miranda Grenier, Shaun Hornsby and “his girl” Kinsley Hornsby.
Rod was known for his creativeness, passion for music and unwavering sense of humour. He was most content working on a project, tending to his property or enjoying a bonfire under the stars. His generosity of spirit was unsurpassed and he remained grateful for life’s memories and loving moments until the end.
