Carroll, Bernadette
December 18, 1937 - June 26, 2025
Bernadette Carroll (nee Leblanc) passed away peacefully Thursday June 26,2025 at Royal Victoria Hospital in her 87th year. Predeceased by her parents and siblings. Loving mother to Victor (Beth), Roland (Karen), Louis (Monique) Rene and Guy. Grandmother to Kyle (predeceased), Gizelle, and Ashley (Tom). Great grandmother to Kaison and Kolton. Loving wife to Peter Carroll (predeceased) and loving companion to John Houghton (predeceased).
Born and raised in Penetanguishene, where she met her first husband Romeo Forget, and raised her 5 boys which she was so proud of. She worked for numerous years for Penetanguishene General Hospital. Eventually moved to Barrie where she met her second husband Peter Carroll at a dance where she said he could dance so well and she was won over by his Irish accent. They moved back to Penetanguishene, and spent time travelling to Ireland, Florida, and Cuba. In the past few years she spent her time bargain hunting and garage saling with John and having a lot of laughs.
Lovingly remembered and cherished by extended family and friends. She will be in our hearts forever. A celebration of life will held on a future date.
Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Home – J.H. Lynn Chapel (705) 526-6551.
