Joseph Andrew St. Amand
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear brother Joe. He died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Sunday May 11th, 2025. In his 71st year. Loving husband of Lucille (nee Arbour). Beloved father of Nevin Campbell and grandchildren Ashton and Cheyenne . Predeceased by his parents Malcolm St. Amand and Madeline Goudreault. Dear brother of Chris St. Amand (Nancy), Linda LaCroix (Dan), Robert St. Amand (Jenny) and Andre St. Amand (Tina). Predeceased by sister Shirley Gerow and brother Wayne St. Amand. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Joe had a kindness in him that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He had a big heart and would try to help anyone in need. He was the local "Mr. Fixit " A jack of all trades, His knowledge was endless, He was a car mechanic, a computer specialist, a skilled model airplane builder that flew in the sky , as well as a drone enthusiast , the list goes on and on. He was the "go to man". There was nothing this man couldn't do. He enjoyed repairing things & made many good friends while reselling his E-bikes. If Joe couldn't fix it no one could. He also was a man of pride and wouldn't sell anything not up to his high standards. He purchased his "Harley Davidson" & his "dream car " and was so very proud of both. He enjoyed fishing and cruising on Georgian Bay. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family, and his little fur buddy Riley. A celebration of Joe's life will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Diabetes Canada Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Homes - J.H. Lynn Chapel (705) 526-6551. Online condolences and memories may be left at www.carsonfuneralhomes.com

May 15, 2025Condolences to Lucille and family and to his brothers and sister who loved him so much. I've known Joey since we were young when my parents built a cottage in Victoria Harbour. Guess that's been 60 years. Hung out at his place, got to know his family. Joey cared about people. He enjoyed his drone, his bike, his car. Sometimes I'd see him flying his drone, or he'd drive by on his bike with Riley. He'd stop and say hello if he saw me out walking my dogs. He was a great guy and he'll be missed. I'll miss him. I played AC/DC for you, Joey.
