Peacefully with his family by his side at Southlake Regional Health Centre - Newmarket on January 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Husband of the late Betty Jane Gibson. Loving and devoted father of Jennifer (Darryl) Fadden, Daphne Gibson, Tara (Joe) Leone, and James (Kristy) Gibson. Loving grandpa Gordy (Gramps) to Nicolas, Owen, Geoffrey (Danie), Katrina (late Tom), Thomas (Rannie), Emma, Grace, Holly, Abby, Vivien, Curtis and great grandchild Gordie. Survived by brother John (Gerrie) Gibson and sister Cathy (late Lloyd) Lavalley.
Gord will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive guests at Carson Funeral Home – L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E. in Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Sunday January 26, 2025 from 12pm until the time we celebrate his life in the chapel starting at 1pm. Following the service a reception luncheon will be served. The family would like to take this opportunity to especially thank the Nurses and all the support staff at Southlake Regional Health Centre – Newmarket for all of their wonderful care and support for both Gordon and the family.
