Passed gracefully and on her terms surrounded by her family at Mariposa House Hospice in Severn on Saturday November 23, 2024 in her 68th year. Brenda, forever wife to John, will be sadly missed by her children Joshua, Jonathan (Shawna), and Jaymee (Josh Williams). Cherished and loved Nana of Lincoln, Oliver and Gabriella. Brenda is survived by her siblings Fred Ritter (Nancy), Larry (Mona), Rod (Shelley), Sandra (Wayne) Shellswell, and Bruce. Sister-in-law to Debbie (Steve Ovell), Dave (Susan) and Jill (Joe DeMars). Brenda is cherished by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Brenny was the life of the party, she enjoyed the presence of her family and extended family at Sunday meals, pool and card parties and her weekends away. Brenda’s hobbies included playing cards, scrapbooking, baseball, and reading on the front step. She was a lady of courage, determination but most of all love. The family will receive friends and family at Carson Funeral Homes – L. Doolittle Chapel 54 Coldwater St. E Orillia, Ontario L3V1W5 (705)326-3595 on Friday November 29, 2024 from 5 – 8 p.m. and on Saturday November 30, 2024 from 12 noon until time of service in the chapel at 1 o’clock. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Mariposa House Hospice and Orillia Special Olympics would be appreciated by the family.
