Remembering The Parks Family

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of three beloved family members, who left us this year but whose memories will remain in our hearts forever.

John James McLeod Parks Born in Guelph, Ontario on October 30, 1941, John James McLeod Parks passed away peacefully earlier this year at his home, surrounded by his loving wife and children. John was a devoted husband and father, whose gentle spirit and unwavering love for his family were evident in all he did. His legacy of kindness and dedication will be cherished by all who knew him.

John Norman Arthur Parks Born in Toronto, Ontario on September 14, 1964, John Norman Arthur Parks passed away peacefully in April of this year, at his home with his mother and siblings close by. He succumbed to heart failure resulting from health complications. John (Storman Norman) was a loving son and brother, whose warmth, generosity and "good heart" touched the lives of many. His memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration.

Louise Marie Parks (née Tache) Born in Montreal, Quebec March 15, 1944, Louise Marie Parks, passed away peacefully at home July 26, 2024 with her daughter Allyson by her side, surrounded by family and friends. Louise fought a brave battle with cancer, displaying immense strength and grace. She was a beloved mother and friend, whose nurturing spirit and unwavering courage will continue to inspire those who knew her.

John, John Norman, and Louise are survived by their loving daughter and sister, Allyson Parks of Orillia, and son and brother, Michael Parks, his wife Julie Cates, and their sons Jaden and Mason of Oakville, Ontario.

In honor of their memory and in lieu of flowers the family kindly suggests donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or cancer research. Your generosity would be a fitting tribute to the lives of three remarkable individuals who meant so much to so many. Their lives were a blessing, their memories a treasure. They are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

  8. Pam and Murray Goring

We spent many hours years ago with your mom and dad as they were involved in the Y's Men's Club. Then later in life your mother took wonderful care of my mother when she worked at Tudhope Manor. She went out of her way to make my mom comfortable. Almost forgot that she also had our two girls in her nursery school class. She was a fantastic teacher. I have missed our chats. Try to remember the happy times together. Murray and Pam
