Remembering Irma Helen Desjardins (nee Marchildon)

It is with profound sadness that the family of Irma Helen Desjardins (Marchildon) announce the passing of our beloved mother on Wednesday July 10th 2024 at the fabulous age of 91.

Mom was held by her loving husband Robert Desjardins of 72 years while she took her last peaceful breaths. Our mother has been loved and supported by her large family of nine brothers and sisters, multiple nieces and nephews, eight grandchildren ,10 great-grandchildren with two expected great grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday July 23rd 2024 at St Anne’s Roman Catholic Church Penetanguishene at 2 o’clock. A luncheon will follow in the church hall. You are all welcome to join us in celebrating the end of this journey for Mom and the beginning of everlasting life.

    Some of my earliest memories includes visiting, with Mom and Dad and Vic, Aunt Irma and Uncle Bob. Aunt Irma held a special place, and was always a wonderful person, with a special bond with my Mom. Our family members ere so appreciative that Mom, until she passed away at the Penetang Manor, would get regular visits from Aunt Irma.
