It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Susan Melbourne (née Lancaster) who passed away peacefully on the morning of 8 May, 2024. Susan is survived by her husband Bill and two children, Aaron and Carly. Susan was authentic in everything she did...an avid golfer, talented composer/musician and world traveller. She will be missed dearly. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice Simcoe in her memory: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/2595

May 27, 2024I was sad to hear about Sue’s passing and my condolences to her dear family left behind. I had the pleasure of her company as a colleague, for a period walked and talked at lunchtime together as a result Came to know her to be a person of depth and conviction and her family took a position of preeminence in her priorities of life.

May 13, 2024I am so saddened by your loss. Sue was a strong willed person with a dry humour and a heart if gold. She shared her music with me and stories of her many retreats. She was so proud of her children. Lou-Anne Pardon

May 13, 2024My condolences to Susan's family. I originally met Susan during our many years of working together at the County of Simcoe. I also had the extraordinary pleasure of meeting with Susan and Bill outside of work, in their home in Barrie. Susan taught me of a new life beyond the norm. She taught me of higher powers and living within. I still have that connection and continue to learn all because of her. I have such gratitude. She will be missed but her spirit will always be near by.

May 13, 2024Condolences to Sue’s family and friends. Sue and I worked together for many years at the County of Simcoe, she was a no nonsense girl, that marched to her own tune. I was fortunate to see a softer side and enjoy her witty sense of humour. Even though I never met Bill, the happiest I seen Sue was when he came into her life. I remember when she was going to retire and everything she was planning to do, it’s nice that she was able to fulfill those dreams. Sending my deepest sympathies to her husband and children.

May 13, 2024To Susan's family. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of Sue. I had the pleasure of working with her years ago in the County of Simcoe. She was a force to be reckoned with back then, and a great conversationalist as well, especially about music. :-). My condolences to your family.
