Peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday March 10, 2024 in her 97th year. Margaret Pomfrey of Orillia, beloved wife of the late Earl Pomfrey. Loving mother of Sheila McClelland, Caroline Jane Albert (predeceased), Maxwell Pomfrey (Lorraine), Elizabeth Pomfrey, Donald William Pomfrey (predeceased), Raymond Leslie Pomfrey (predeceased), and Evelyn Anne Pomfrey. Loved by 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Margaret was a strong beautiful woman full of love for her family. She loved her church, her home in Orillia and all the friends she met exchanging vegetable and garden stories. The family would like to thank the Bayshore Nurses, Andrea, Brenda, Lisa, Tammy and Jean for all of the care given to Margaret. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held on Sunday March 17, 2024 at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church, 429 Jamieson Dr., Orillia at 2:00 P.M.
