Peacefully in her 96th year, on Saturday January 27, 2024 at Spencer House, Orillia. Clara “Irene” James (nee Schell), born in Kilworthy, departed her earthly realm to walk with the angels. Compassionate mother of Linda Thomson (predeceased) Ralph, Sandra (Keith) Mathieson and Ken (Lillian) Orr. Irene was a devoted wife to husbands Art James (predeceased 2007) and Fred Orr (Predeceased 1971). “Nana” will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Carson Funeral Home – L. Doolittle Chapel (705) 326-3595 on Thursday February 1, 2024 from 11 AM until 1 PM. A small private family service will be held in the chapel immediately following the visitation at 1 PM. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery, Orillia. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation to your charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
