Remembering Steven Wesley Gordon

With profound sadness and devastation I must announce that on Monday January 8, 2024, my dear husband peacefully fell asleep in death at home. Steve was a letter carrier for Canada Post for 35 years and filled his retirement with cutting wood and building beautiful wood carvings and tables. He was at-home in the woods . He will be missed by many and cannot believe he is gone. Steve was born on Oct 7, 1955 in Weston On. and is survived by his parents Beth (Elizabeth) and Wes (Robert) Gordon; in Brighton; his Brother Rick(Richard) & (Deb); and his sister Lori in Trenton. Steve is also survived by his wife Cyndi Scott Gordon and his stepson Macgregor (Mac); in Severn Bridge;  Son Stuart (Sherrie) and granddog Aura; in Gravenhurst and Son Benton (Ben) (Laura), grandchildren Noah Bedore, Chloe Bedore, Hawkston Gordon and Topanga Gordon and granddog Beyak in Orillia. Steve was everyone's rock and Dr. Doolittle especially for birds and our Macaw Barney is missing him terribly as well as our cat Kat. He is missed so much already. There will be a memorial service at The Kingdom Hall at 519 Laclie St. At 12 noon on Sat Feb 3, 2024. All are welcome and there will be light refreshments. Hope to see you there. In March there will be a celebration of Life for Steve at Bayview Wildwood and details to follow.  Please check on Bayview Wildwood facebook page for updates. Arrangements entrusted to Carson Funeral Home – L.Doolittle Chapel (705) 326-3595.
