Karen Elizabeth Heels, 70, of Penetanguishene Ontario, passed away on Friday December 29th, 2023, after a brief battle with cancer. Karen was born in June 1953 to Kathryn Joan Heels and Harold Joseph Heels in Toronto. After Karen graduated from Don Mills Collegiate Institute, she went on to study Communications at Seneca College. She moved to Midland Ontario about 30 years ago to be with her parents. Then she started her career at Nebs Business Products as a proofreader until her retirement. Karen was predeceased by her parents, Joan and Harold, whom she loved and cherished. Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Carson Funeral Home, J.H. Lynn Chapel, 290 First St., Midland Ontario on Sunday January 7th, 2024 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Best known for her loving heart, wicked sense of humour plus her love of kids and cats.
