Remembering Charles Sydney Hounsome

Passed with family by his side at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Sunday December 17, 2023 in his 81^st year.  Charles, loving husband to Dianne, will be sadly missed by his children Todd (Colleen), Scott, Christopher (Amy), and Sydney (Jonathan), by his grandchildren Charlotte and Emma, and by many nieces and nephews.  Charles is predeceased by his sisters Joan and Doris.  Charles had a great sense of humour and was known for his one liner’s. He loved cottage life, his family, and his pets. The family will receive friends at Carson Funeral Homes – L.Doolittle Chapel on Thursday December 21, 2023 from 4 – 7 pm, and on Friday from 12 noon until time of service at 1 o’clock.  Reception to follow at Bayview Wildwood Resort.  If desired, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA Orillia Branch and would be appreciated by the family.
