Gone Fishing in Heaven
John Edwin McGrory passed away unexpectedly at home Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at the age of 69. He will be missed by his cherished wife and fishing partner Debbie, sons Scott (Danielle), Michael (Jessica), Martin (Gillian) and stepson Bradley, as well as his grandchildren Katie, Emma, Laura, Callum and Jamie and sister Laraine.
Predeceased by his beloved partner Margaret, sister Helen and puppy pals Little B and New B. An avid fisherman, explorer, home repair pro and window watcher, John leaves behind many friends and loved ones across Ontario, BC, Newfoundland, Alaska and Scotland. A celebration of life service will be taking place at St. Paul’s United Church in Midland on November 28th, 2023 at 1:30pm, followed by a brief reception.
