With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mom after many health issues. She is once again with our Dad. Mom was a lifelong reporter and political observer, a longtime member of the media, she truly loved the print media. Later in life her joy was being a greeter for Wal-Mart. As a mother, wife, sister, grandmother and great grandmother she truly had a life well lived. We would like to thank everyone involved in Mom’s care, Dr. Doan, Dr. Krew and her P.S.W.’s Deb, Kelli, Monica and all the staff at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Carson Funeral Homes L. Doolittle Chapel, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, Ontario (705) 326-3595.
