Remembering Lloyd James Joseph Raymond

It is with deep sadness and heartbreak we announce the passing of Lloyd Joseph James RAYMOND (December 3, 1935 - October 1, 2023) at home on Sunday October 1, 2023.

Much loved son of Kathleen Lounds (predeceased) and Hilliard Raymond (predeceased) Beloved husband of Marina (Walker) for 65 years. Adored father of Shawna (Robert Atkinson), Karen (predeceased), Paula (Craig Mclennan) and Melinda (Scott Cherevaty). Loving grandfather of Matthew, Jordan (Rob), Ethan (Maya), Aidan, Caela and Bohden and extra special great grandfather of Braxton and Isla. Proud brother of Muriel (predeceased) (Aulden Silk) and family. Loving brother-in-law of Joyce (Walker) (predeceased) (Wes Adam-predeceased) and family. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, neighbours on Charles Road, and his many friends he gained while working in the Orillia real estate community and living in Coldwater and Orillia.

The family would also like to thank the very special care givers to Lloyd – Nadia, Leslie, Joseph, Janice, Melissa and to Care Partners and Bayshore Nursing. We would not have been able to manage without their care and support.

Lloyd was a kind, friendly, honest soul and dealt with all he came to pass with compassion and integrity. A truly good man.

The late Lloyd Raymond will rest at the Carson Funeral Home, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, Ontario with visitation on Friday October 6, 2023, from 11am until time of funeral service at 1pm. Luncheon will be served following the service for those that wish to visit with the family.
