Remembering Elizabeth Rose Bergant (nee Dean)

Passed peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Thursday September 14, 2023 in her 84^th year.  Elizabeth, loving wife to Valentin for 62 years, will be sadly missed by her son Calvin (Shelley).  Elizabeth was a devoted nana to Joshua and great nana to Caesar.  Elizabeth is predeceased by her siblings Gordon, Grace (Leonard), and David (Evangeline), and by her nephew David.  Elizabeth is survived by her niece Kathy (Ken), and by her nephew Ozzie (Brita).  She loved her gardens and birds and her times at her home on the Trent Severn.  A special thank you to Dr. Runk, the paramedics, nurse and the staff at Soldiers Memorial Hospital and the team at Champlain Manor. The family will receive family and friends at St. Paul’s Anglican Church Washago (3314 Quetton St, Washago, ON L0K 2B0) on Thursday September 21, 2023 from 1 pm until time of service in the church at 2 o’clock.  Interment to follow at St. George’s Cemetery Washago.  If desired, memorial donations may be made the Alzheimer’s Society of Simcoe County or the Heart and Stroke Foundation and will be received by the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Home 54 Coldwater Street E., Orillia, Ontario 705-326-3595
